L/Corporal Leo INGHAM [Army No: 6345], was serving with the 2nd Battalion, East Surrey Regiment, when he was injured, and later died from his wounds. His grave reference is II. A. 102, Bailleul Communal Cemetery Extension, Nord, France. He had only been on French soil for two months. He posthumously received the three war medals, the 1914/15 Star, British War and Allied Victory Medal. The 2nd Battalion of the East Surreys was part of the 85th Brigade, 28th Division., and were engaged in The Battle of Frezenburg [2nd Battle of Ypres] 8th - 13th May 1915, likely when Leo received the wounds he died from.

Leo was the son of Lewis W. INGHAM (1865-1927), b. Cuddington, Surrey; a House Painter [1911], who married in 1892 at Epsom, Surrey, Agnes nee TELLING (1867-), b. Siddington, Gloucestershire. He had at least one sibling, Ethel.
